About the Authors

ROB CROSS is an assistant professor of management at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. He also directs the social network research program for IBM’s Knowledge and Organizational Performance Forum, where he has worked with a wide range of well-known companies and government agencies in applying network concepts to critical business issues. Rob’s work on social networks has been published in such venues as Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review, California Management Review, Organizational Dynamics, and Business Horizons. Rob speaks, consults, and conducts executive education both domestically and internationally.
