COMING TO CLOSURE WITH YOUR MENTOR
CLOSURE OFFERS ONE of the most profound learning experiences of a mentoring relationship. This is the mentoring phase in which you reflect on what you have learned during your mentoring relationship and position yourself to continue the momentum of your own developmental journey long after the relationship is over. It prepares you to leverage the knowledge you have gained and move forward.
Coming to closure also allows you to redefine the relationship and comfortably move on. It doesn’t necessarily mean that the relationship ends, but it does signify that it is the end to this phase of the mentoring relationship.
