Charles holds a B.S in Information Sciences and Technology from Pennsylvania State University, where he specialized in Information Assurance and Security. He has over 13 years of experience and is currently the Engineering Manager, Corporate Security for Netflix. Charles is known for creating dynamic teams that develop and engineer robust security capabilities with a constant awareness of the threat landscape balanced with an understanding of business risks. Mr. Nwatu believes that diverse talent working in a diverse environment allows for great opportunities and discoveries to take place, so he is very active in the community as a member of /dev/color and is a current ally of Women's Society of Cyberjutsu.

I actually do not believe there is a massive shortage of career cybersecurity professionals. I do believe there is a massive shortage of entry to mid-level cybersecurity opportunities for individuals to learn and develop their cybersecurity principles and best practices.
