I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Rule of Thirds
The rule of thirds is the most common rule in photographic theory. Simply divide your frame into thirds using two vertical lines and two horizontal lines. Most cameras have this function built in to the Live View function, which makes it even easier. Use this grid and align the interesting features of your photo where the lines intersect.
You can use the other intersecting points to align other interesting subjects or you can use them as a frame as I’ve done here.
