I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

What Version?
Media Composer is the longest-running Avid application and several versions are in regular use – here is a brief summary:
v5.6 and Earlier
Version 5 of Media Composer ran on PowerMac and earlier Apple Computers fitted with the NuVista+ video board (which had a lower resolution than the current systems). These computers used the older NuBus internal expansion slots, rather than the current PCI slots. The highest video resolution available was AVR27, a two-field resolution roughly equivalent to the later AVR71. Single-digit resolutions (i.e., AVR1–AVR6) are single-field and double-digit resolutions (i.e., AVR25– AVR27) are two-field resolutions.
