Adding a new virtual network adapter to a virtual machine
You can add an additional virtual network adapter to a virtual machine. Such a need is dictated by the purpose of the virtual machine. In this recipe, we will learn how to add a new virtual network adapter to a VM.
How to do it...
The following procedure explains how to add a new virtual network adapter to a VM:
- Navigate to the VM and Templates inventory view, select and right-click on the VM to which you intend to add a virtual network adapter (vNIC), and then click on Edit Settings.
- Use the New device option available in the Edit Settings window, select Network as the device option, and then click on Add as demonstrated in the following screenshot:
