It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preparing VMware vMA for first use
After vMA is deployed, it will need to go through a few initial configuration steps before you can begin using it. The configuration is done at the appliance's guest operating system level.
Tip
The vMA appliance runs SUSE Linux Enterprise Linux (SLES) 11 SP1 as the guest operating system.
How to do it…
The following procedure will help you prepare the vMA VM for first use:
