It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Data is your most precious business asset, and it is irreplaceable. I cannot overemphasize to you how important it is to continuously be on the lookout for risks in your environment. Are any of your backup jobs not completing successfully? Is replication lagging? Are you regularly breaching your RPOs and RTOs? Have you just discovered a critical single point of failure in your infrastructure? When it comes to situations that could compromise your data protection and data availability, if you see something wrong, you need to address it immediately.
