15.6. Summary
This chapter introduced you to the box model of CSS and how you can use various properties of an element's surrounding box to help format your documents. You learned how padding, borders, and margins comprise a layered structure around an element and how each can be manipulated to change how elements render in the document. You learned about the extensive border options and finished with coverage of dynamic outlines. Chapter 16 covers the other customizable pieces of the box model, namely the foreground and background, both colors and images.
