Since the rst release of the WebGL specication in February 2011, a remarkable and
passionate community has developed around it. Enthusiasts from varied domains, from
the demoscene to medical research scientists and everyone in between, have created
beautiful visual eects, artifacts, applications, and libraries. Perhaps most remarkably,
these individuals and groups have shared their work for all to see and use on the World
Wide Web.
