Adding a Splash Page

First impressions do count, whatever people say. In particular, any good WebObjects application or site needs to have a good starting point. Having a great home page is more than a bonus.

In this section we look at making a dynamic splash page using an image map and rollovers.

Using Image Maps in WebObjects

Let's start by creating another test project: WOMappedRolloverTest.

Locate the graphics for this exercise in the file download for the chapter on the book companion Web site (www.samspublishing.com). Copy the images into the Web Server Resources group, selecting the Web Server target and Copy files options when doing so.
