The Access Developers Extensions (ADE) for Microsoft Access 2007 provides several very useful tools for building Access applications. In this chapter, you explored four useful features included in the ADE for Access developers: the Access Redistributable Runtime, the Package Wizard, Save as Template, and Source Code Control support. Versions of Microsoft Office XP and lower afforded Access developers permission to distribute the Access Runtime only by purchasing the Developer edition.
