Event Generation. We next generated a series of events that will be processed in order to exam-
ine the effect of using a semantic web-based reasoner for social network access control. We con-
densed the full set of actions that can be performed in a social network (such as games, posting on
walls, or changing one’s status) to those that would most strongly affect the ability of a reasoner
(adding friends, accessing existing resources, creating new resources, and changing permissions).
