So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

26.1 INTRODUCTION
This chapter describes a system called SNODSOC (stream-based novel class detection for social
network analysis) to detect evolving patterns and trends in social blogs, and shows how it may
be hosted on a cloud. We also discuss security issues for cloud-based social network analysis.
SNODSOC extends our powerful data mining system called SNOD (stream-based novel class
detection) for detecting classes of blogs. We also describe SNODSOC++, which is an extended
