The Clock
Android tablets come with a useful, albeit plain Clock app. 
You don’t really need it for telling time because you can always glance down at the bottom-right corner of the screen to see that. However, the Clock app does come with an alarm. If you place your tablet in a charging cradle at night, this app can serve as a great alarm clock.
Follow these steps to start using the Clock app’s alarm function:
- Launch the Clock app either through the widget or by tapping its app icon.
- Tap the Set alarm link below the time (see Figure 23–1).
