Toward a New Paradigm of Management
In conclusion, we can identify a line of evolution, in management thought, from an old-paradigm (inclusive of “northern”, “western” and “eastern” concepts and methods) toward a “global” new-paradigm orientation (see table 1.1).
In this book we shall be concerned with the what and the how of managing, while adopting a global perspective, in the new paradigm.
