Reflective, Intuitive, and Integrative Visioning

While Warren Bennis' approach to envisioning (chapter 4) draws on his American experience, this chapter is set full square within Europe, albeit with an eastern ‘intuitive’ influence.

The resulting model of ‘corporate visioning’ is captured in figure 5.1. As can be seen from that flow chart, the approach starts out with two strands, namely (1) reflective visioning and (2) intuitive visioning. Both streams are eventually combined to (3) an integrative vision which serves as a powerful basis for action. The model also implies that visioning is a continuing process.
