I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
17 Logic
The application of mathematical analysis and deductive reasoning to propositions that may be true or false owes much to the work of George Boole in 1847. He formulated a system that could be applied to the relationships between propositions to which only a binary choice of truth existed. The first application of the Boolean algebra that derived from this was Shannon’s research into the analysis of relay switching circuits in 1938. Although now used extensively in communications, the concept also finds applications in fluidic control systems.
