Talent attraction
Why is talent important? Organizations have known for at least two decades that the attraction, retention and engagement of talented employees is strategically important. A survey by the Corporate Research Forum (2017) recently found that only 17 per cent of HRDs rated their organization as effective at predicting and planning for future talent needs, and only 20 per cent were satisfied at the outcomes of their business’s talent management efforts.
