Afterthought – the future
Imagine a world where leaders give their employees enormous freedom to decide what to do and how to do it. Imagine workplaces where employees elect their own leaders and pay is decided by a vote once data on every employee’s contribution has been shared with all employees. Let’s also think about organizations where the majority of their workers are not employees at all, but a connected group of freelancers living wherever they want. Let’s also conceive of businesses giving their people the things they most want – for some money, for many interesting and meaningful work, perhaps the chance to help others or more time with their families.
