The two types of conversion process mentioned above
are known, respectively, as: analogue-to-digital conver-
sion, requiring the use of an analogue-to-digital converter
(ADC): and digital-to-analogue conversion, requiring the
use of a digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). There's a
