GLOSSARY
Agile: An approach often used in project and programme management to time-box delivery activity in iterations, or short planned phases, to achieve incrementally the overall goal whilst retaining a focus on quality. It originated as the Agile Manifesto in 2001 following a group of like-minded individuals defining a different, lighter approach to software development. It is now used more extensively than just in software development, with a variety of forms – Scrum, dynamic systems development method (DSDM), XP, to name a few.
