I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Systemy rekomendacji zazwyczaj są uczone na podstawie zgromadzonych wcześniej ocen wystawianych przez użytkowników. W ich przypadku chodzi nam o prognozowanie ocen użytkowników, dlatego też przyjęcie za punkt wyjścia zarejestrowanych ocen wydaje się czymś naturalnym. Jednak zmusza to nas do zgromadzenia obszernego zbioru takich ocen jeszcze przed rozpoczęciem uczenia, a poza tym sprawia, że nie będziemy mogli w solidny sposób prognozować nowych elementów, dla których nie dysponujemy wcześniejszymi ocenami. Co więcej, celowo ignorujemy posiadane metainformacje dotyczące elementów.
