I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The pace of change has never been greater. Communication options are continually expanding. By the time you read these words, there will already have been innovative changes to the technologies we use; new ways of doing everyday things; updated and upgraded ways of communicating electronically. While important to the ways we communicate socially, in the world of work, virtual workplaces are here to stay and require, not necessarily different, but refined communication and assertiveness skills.
Few people are ambivalent to technology; most either embrace the opportunities afforded by it, or fear – even hate it. Of course, it is personal choice whether you use an iPhone or a BlackBerry; whether you tweet, post videos to ...
