Digital Drawing Exercise Four: Creating a Multi-Layer Photographic Image
This exercise merges three very different existing photographic images into a single cohesive image. The requirements are to provide three images taken in very different places at different times. In this case, I am using three old photos. The use of light and shadow is one of the critical components of any drawing. Light and shadow are even more critical in digital drawings and compositions where they most often must be consciously manipulated from the existing light or completely revised in the final image.
