Abstract

Peptides and proteins are naturally occurring large molecules that perform different functions and events to ensure proper functioning of the body. Peptides and protein therapeutics have gained much attention in recent years. Although peptide and protein therapeutics possess high impact in the health industry, delivery of these molecules is limited due to several factors such as large size, hydrophilic nature, and enzymatic cleavage.
