The model of the core employee engagement drivers that we have shown, built around Connection, Support, Voice and Scope, is to a high degree reflected in the key engagement drivers identified by major surveys of employee engagement.

Gallup’s Q12 survey is based on 12 statements that, based on their research, best predict employee engagement. While Gallup were not willing to grant permission to republish the questions, our review of the Q12 would suggest that ten of them align closely to the model we have proposed and only two are less clearly related.
