I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

So as we complete this picture of engagement, we’re coming back to where we began – the vital importance of employee engagement to business success. Right now, it’s difficult to predict when the global economy will recover; after the collapse of Lehman Brothers in 2008, it seemed like a turnaround was beginning in 2010, but developments such as the Eurozone sovereign debt crisis, the tsunami in Japan in 2011 and widespread economic sluggishness have put paid to this.
