When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Building the visualization
Now that the data is being pumped to Power BI via the Azure IoT hub and stream analytics, we will start building the dashboard:
- Log in to Power BI, navigate to the My Workspace that we selected when we created the Output in the Stream Analytics job, and select Datasets. We should see something similar to the screenshot illustrated here:
- Using the first icon under the ACTIONS column, for the pi3dht11 dataset, create a new report.
- When you are in the report page, under VISUALIZATIONS, select line chart, drag EventEnqueuedUtcTime to the Axis field, and set the temp and humd fields to the values as shown in the ...
