End-to-end communication

Following are the steps we are going to follow to achieve the solution.

First, set up the Thing and publish data to AWS IoT:

1. Create a new AWS and AWS IoT Thing account
2. Create a new AWS IoT type
3. Create a new AWS IoT certificate
4. Create a new AWS IoT policy
5. Associate the policy with the certificate
6. Associate the certificate with the Thing

 

7. Set up Raspberry Pi 3 and DHT11
8. Set up the AWS IoT client on Raspberry Pi 3
9. Start reading the sensor data and publish it to the shadow Thing topic
10. Subscribe to the Thing shadow from another client to visualize the data
