10.12 EFFECT OF WELDING SPEED ON UTS
The effect of welding speed with respect to UTS is depicted in Figure 10.9. It can be
observed from Table 10.10 that ultimate tensile strength increases when the welding
speed is increased from 1 to 2 levels. UTS decreases when welding speed is increase
from 2 to 3 levels, and further, UTS is increased with increasing the welding speed
from level 3 to level 4.
