When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
synapseRT
synapseRT gives an option to link a defect either at the test case level or test step level. Select any test case in synapseRT and create an ad hoc run. During the execution, it creates a new test run and shows the options to either link the existing defect or create new ones under the Run Attributes section. We also have an option to update the test status at the test step level.
In the following screenshot, step one has been marked as failed and it has an associated SCRUM-7 defect at the test step level. However, there are two defects, SCRUM-7 and SCRUM-5, linked to the test case level. Since one test step has failed here, the status of the entire test case gets updated as FAILED:
