I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What is a test suite?
A test suite is simply a bucket that holds a collection of test cases with similar behaviors or goals. Each test suite has common characteristics defined by underlying test cases and varies in numbers.
Various characteristics contribute towards recognizing and distinguishing the patterns of test suites, namely, the following:
- Requirements.
- Priority:
- High
- Low
- Critical
- Components.
- Test environment:
- Development
- Test
- Production
- Test input parameters or type. These include different sets or types of values, such as .csv files, images, variables, objects, or even returned values from functions.
- Expected behavior.
- Type of testing:
- Regression
- Smoke
- Browser-specific
- Specific tools used by the team for testing, such ...
