Like Zephyr, Test Management tools don't need test plans or test cases to create a test cycle:

1. We can add test cycles by navigating to the Tests | Cycles section. Once we click on the New button to add a new cycle, we will be shown the following Details screen, where we can enter details about this cycle, such as Folder, Status, Version, Iteration, Owner, Planned start date and Planned end date, Description, and so on:
