Hoshin Kanri and Daily Control

The proportion of daily control to hoshin activities varies, but generally 75 to 95 percent is daily control and 5 to 25 percent is hoshin. This is because daily control is the base and policy deployment is effective only when daily control is performed correctly. Both systems grew out of TQC, and they are used in combination for implementing business and management plans.
