This is also in the Preferences dialog. Just go to InDesign (PC: Edit) > Preferences > General, and the option to Show “Start” Workspace When No Documents Are Open is right there at the top—check or uncheck as you wish. Just in case you aren’t sure what this actually is, let me offer a quick explanation. When you open up InDesign without a document open, you’ll get a start screen showing files you’ve recently opened, giving you a quick shortcut to open them again.
