It’s What InDesign Was Made For!

This is the stuff I really love: text and type! I’ve always been fascinated with type, fonts, lettering, whatever you want to call it. When I was a kid I loved old TV cop and spy shows. Whenever there was a kidnapping, I got excited. Why? Ransom notes! In a talk I do at Photoshop World, I present a slide that says “When I was growing up I wanted to be a . . .” and I ask the audience what they think. I usually hear “typographer,” “author,” or “lettering artist,” and these are all great suggestions, if I had known at age 7 what those things were.
