A Day in the Life
The sales person’s day generally starts at around the same time as the trader’s, around 6:30 a.m., and commences with the morning meeting. This is not significantly different from the morning meeting for the traders and they are often done together. While a recap of the previous day’s client business might be discussed, including any post-mortems of client trades lost, from the sales person’s perspective, the crux of this meeting is about financial market color for the day.
