While there are some stereotypes that can be made about clients, some stereotypes can also be made about sales people. The two most common stereotypes are the technical sales person and the relationship sales person. Both of these sales people are equally effective but in different ways and in different markets. Most people on the trading floor are familiar with broad macroeconomics as well as the key mechanics of the product on which they work.
