While the retail distribution team is building up an order book, the structurer is working on putting the rest of the deal together. This primarily entails liaising with the legal team, both internal and external, to get the final set of documents together and approved by all connected parties. The starting point for the set of documents is most likely a previous deal that has been done that is similar. The structurer can easily go through a previous set of documents and update it to reflect the current deal. Then he sends an email with this draft to all relevant parties for them to review.
