I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Cycle Time (Weeks per Feature)
The other thing we measure is cycle time (or flow time). Cycle time means how long it takes for something to get done, or, more specifically in our case, “How long did it take for feature X to move from “Next Ten Features” to “Ready for Acceptance Test.”
Cycle time is also very easy to measure. Every time a feature is selected to be among the “Next Ten Features,” we write a start date on the card.
