I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating Stored Procedure transformation
You can create the Stored Procedure transformation instead of importing it. Usually, the best practice is to import the Stored Procedure as it takes care of all the properties automatically. When you create the transformation you need to take care of all the input, output, and return ports in the Stored Procedure transformation. Before you create the Stored Procedure, make sure the Stored Procedure is created in the database.
To create the stored procedure transformation, open the mapping in the mapping designer. Go to Transformation | Create. Select Stored Procedure transformation from the list of transformations, and mention the name of the transformation as shown here:
