When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Export/Import
You can perform the Export/Import functionality from PowerCenter Designer or Workflow Manager Screen. Whenever you export the components, Informatica creates the .XML file for those components. Similarly, you can import the components if those are available as .XML files. Any export/import operation will happen in the .XML format. You can view the file in the XML editor and, in fact, change the file before you import the file. The code will be imported with the changes you made in the file. Ideally, you should not change the exported file for consistency issues across different environments.
To complete the migration, you export the components from one repository and import to another repository. A similar approach can be used ...
