So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Importing Stored Procedure transformation
Importing the Stored Procedure is similar to importing the database tables in Informatica. We have seen earlier the process of importing database tables. Before you import the Stored Procedure, make sure the stored procedure is created and tested at the database level. Also, make sure you have the valid credentials for connecting to the database.
To import the stored procedure, open the mapping in the mapping designer. Click on Transformation, and select the Import Stored Procedure... option as shown here:
Connect with the database credentials, and click on the required procedure and then on OK:
