So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In this chapter, we talked about various techniques using which you can enhance the performance. We talked about source, target, and transformation bottlenecks. Even after optimizing your source, target, and mapping, your performance is not up to date, then take a look at your session and system bottlenecks. We also slooked at various ways of optimizing the components of the PowerCenter tool. Later, we discussed partitioning and pushdown optimization, using which you can enhance the performance.
