The Pursuit of Perfection

The Eames Lounger was designed in 1956, and is still widely considered the epitome of modern design. It is a simple, beautiful, and comfortable bent-plywood design that tells a story. It has a timeless design that cannot be improved upon. It is perfect. There has been no reason to make any revisions because Ray and Charles Eames got it right.
