I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Switching to Go
Go (or Golang) is a new language (less than 10 years old). It is already widely used by some impressive parties, such as Docker (https://docker.com), Google, Kubernetes (https://kubernetes.io), and Prometheus (https://prometheus.io). Go is a versatile tool that can help you to program at a low level, close to the operating system or at a high level in a language such as Java. It is perfectly suited to creating systems software. The language was created in 2009 by R. Griesemer, R. Pike, and K.Thompson while working for Google. The latter is very famous for co-creating the first Unix implementation and the B programming language.
