It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Static application security testing (sast)
This part of the pipeline scans your code for known security issues, and is known as a static application security test. This will be explained in more detail in the next chapter. The final parallel step in the test stage is running the actual tests that are defined by your code.
