A.1. Windows 2000 Server Security Checklist

Before you begin this checklist, be sure that you have a complete system backup. Also, read through the entire checklist before taking any specific actions. If your Windows 2000 Server will perform special functions (such as hosting an Exchange service), be sure that the changes don't break functionality.
