About the Contributing Authors
William Jenson Adams (Chapter 3) is Professor of Communication in the School of Journalism & Mass Communication at Kansas State University. His primary research interests lie in motion pictures and network television programming for prime time. He has written chapters for several textbooks, including multiple editions of Media Programming: Strategies and Practices (2006), and published his research in such periodicals as the Journal of Broadcasting & Electronic Media, Journal of Communication, and the Journal of Media Economics.
